Turnbull Floods, Flowers, And Feathers Festival


Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge is hosting its 7th Annual Floods, Flowers and Feathers Festival in combination with Cheney MayFest on Saturday, May 12, 2018.

Enjoy spring by experiencing and learning about the exceptional wildlife, habitats, and geology of the unique Channeled Scablands landscape. Come join the fun on Saturday, May 12, 2018 in downtown Cheney and at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge.

In partnership with numerous organizations, the Refuge offers the 7th spring nature festival with free activities for families and individuals of all ages. Nature hikes, bird walks, animal activities, and a geology tour will be provided at the Refuge. Information booths and activities for children will be provided by Turnbull and several partners in downtown Cheney at MayFest.

How to Register Online ~

Registration: Some activities at the refuge will require registration through Cheney Parks and Recreation. Although drop ins are welcome for some activities, registering for these activities would be appreciated.  It helps us with our planning.
